The new Toyota Crown Sport crossover is an inexpensive premium model that has already gone on sale as an alternative to the regulars of the segment. Now the car has been shown in an unexpected way.
The details have become known to Carscoops. The new Toyota Crown Sport TOM's Racing is the result of the work of the masters of the Japanese tuning studio. The model's appearance has changed: a bright blue body shade and many black accents have appeared.
New specially designed wheels are also noticeable. The car was prepared for demonstration at the Tokyo Motor Show.
Earlier it was reported that Toyota is preparing an inexpensive alternative to BMW and Mercedes sports crossovers in the form of the Toyota GR Crown Sport. A powerful engine and an upgraded suspension are expected.
At the moment, the top-of-the-line Toyota Crown Sport is equipped with a 306 horsepower hybrid powertrain based on a 2.5-liter gasoline engine. The price of the base Crown Sport starts at $39,600.
