In one of Kyiv's districts, sappers discovered the wreckage of an X-55 cruise missile. The "find" was carefully removed by pyrotechnics and taken to a safe place.

This was reported by the press service of the Mobile Rescue Center of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine. Residents of the city were urged not to ignore the danger reports.

"In Kyiv, SES sappers continue to eliminate the consequences of enemy attacks. Specialists of the pyrotechnic unit found the remains of an X-55 cruise missile in one of the capital's districts. These remnants did not pose a direct threat to the population, but their prompt removal and neutralization is an important part of measures aimed at ensuring the safety of citizens," the press service added.

The X-55 is a Soviet strategic aviation cruise missile. It was developed at the "Raduga" Design Bureau in Dubna in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The missile is carried by Tu-95 and Tu-160 strategic bombers.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, a warhead of the Russian UAV "Geranium-2 " (Shahed-136) was found on the territory of a private household in the Boryspil district of Kyiv. The sappers were called to the scene and carefully removed the explosive find.
