In one of the districts of Kyiv region, local residents found the wreckage of an enemy Gerbera UAV. To remove them, sappers were called to the scene.
This was reported by the press service of the Mobile Rescue Center of the State Emergency Service. Residents of the region were urged not to ignore the air raid.
"Residents of the Kyiv region noticed the wreckage and, suspecting that it was fragments of an unmanned aerial vehicle, notified the relevant services. The sappers promptly arrived at the scene and removed the safe remains of the enemy Gerbera UAV. Fortunately, there were no casualties," the statement said.
"Gerbera" is a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) used in Russia's military operations against Ukraine. This drone is a simplified and cheaper version of the Iranian Shahed-136 kamikaze drone, known in Russia as the Geranium-2.
To recap, in Brovary district of Kyiv region, local residents found a warhead of a Russian Kh-101 missile in the middle of a field. Bomb squad was called to the scene.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, in one of the districts of Kyiv region, a forester found a warhead of a Geranium-2 (Shahed-136) UAV while inspecting the territory. Sappers were called to the scene to remove the explosive find.
