The fight ended early

The unbeaten Ukrainian boxer of Georgian origin Tsotne Rogava (5-0, 5 KOs) has won another early victory in the professional ring. In the main event of the show at Soboba Casino in San Jacinto (USA), the 30-year-old Zugdidi native left local fighter John Shipman (5-6, 2 KOs) no chance.

Shipman, who was 20 kilograms lighter than the Ukrainian, sought to be as mobile as possible from the first seconds: he tried to move quickly around the ring and work with his jab.

This tactic was successful only until the Ukrainian's first well-thought-out attack. Having missed an overhand from Rogava, Shipman switched to survival mode.

He was pinned in one corner of the ring or the other, missing body shots and trying to clinch unsuccessfully. Having missed another sidekick to the liver, the chimp was unable to continue the fight. The referee stopped the fight, awarding the victory to our compatriot.

As OBOZ.UA reported, Rogava had his last fight in January. Then Tsotne went to the United States to fight in shorts with the inscription "Glory to Ukraine!" and left no chance for local boxer Dante Williams (4-1, 4 KOs), defeating him by knockout.

On October 2 the year before last, Rogava took on Demir Gulamicic (3-6-2, 0 KOs) of Bosnia in spectacular style, winning by TKO.

In May 2022, Rogava knocked out Michael Bassett (2-5, 2 KOs) from the UK.

We would like to remind you that Rogava started his professional career on April 11, 2021.
