The popular inexpensive Toyota RAV4 crossover was shown online in an unexpected modification before the premiere of the next model. The car is probably designed to draw attention to the car.

The new Toyota RAV4 is scheduled for release in 2025. So, the car is almost ready. As OBOZ.UA reminds, there is no exact information about the car yet – the manufacturer manages to keep the development secret.

Meanwhile, the Toyota RAV-X Concept SUV based on the RAV4 has been prepared for the SEMA auto show in Las Vegas. The car differs from the production crossover by a slightly modified design, body stickers, large wheels, and underbody protection. But this show car will not go on sale.

The manufacturer is busy finalizing the next model and is close to completing the design. In fact, there is still no exact information about what kind of car buyers will eventually get – a deep modernization of the 5th generation Toyota RAV4 or a full-fledged new car. The current model appeared in 2018 and will soon turn 7 years old.

The only thing that is known is that the Japanese company is very careful in modernizing this successful model. It is reported that the Toyota RAV4 will retain its formula and will not demonstrate any dramatic changes in the concept. The car will definitely not turn into an electric vehicle. Hybrid modifications will remain in the lineup – they will become more efficient and receive new batteries.
