The Russians never dreamed of it: Usyk topped the most prestigious ranking of the best boxers in the world

The unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) continues to be the best boxer on the planet regardless of weight category. Last year, our compatriot twice beat Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs), securing his place at the top.

The rating was published by the main boxing magazine The Ring. Usyk is ahead of Japanese lightweight Naoya Inoue (29-0, 26 KOs) and American Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs), who is in the middleweight division.

The top five also include Russians who are shamefully hiding under the flags of other countries – Dmitry Bivol (24-1, 12 KOs) and Artur Beterbiev (21-1, 20 KOs). Last weekend, their rematch determined the absolute world light heavyweight champion.
