How to dress in winter to stay warm.
How do climbers, skiers, or snowboarders, for example, manage to stay outside for a long time (when it's bitterly cold!) without freezing? They adhere to the rule of three layers, where the bottom layer supports ventilation of the body, the middle layer retains heat, and the top layer protects from unfavorable weather.

The first layer: minimalistic things made of natural fabrics
It is the basic one. It performs the function of thermoregulation. It can be a cotton T-shirt, long sleeves, turtleneck or thermal underwear (preferably with merino wool in it as it warms perfectly). Pay attention to products from basic collections (in white, black or beige) and made of natural fibers. It is also advisable to wear warm woolen socks in a classic palette, and a second pair of thin synthetic socks under them. This way you will ensure comfort for your feet.
The second layer: warm items that keep you cozy
These are fleece sweatshirts, sweaters made of wool, cashmere or angora, insulated shirts, jumpers, hoodies, long-sleeved polos, etc. In winter 2024, oversized models with a simple design and a calm palette (Old Money aesthetics) are still in trend. Fitted over-decorated variants (rhinestones, sequins, beads, buckles, etc.) have long gone out of fashion. For the bottom, choose pants, trousers, insulated leggings, tights and skirts.
Third layer: outerwear that does not get wet
In the winter of 2024, insulated midi and maxi coats, eco-fur coats, short coats (sheepskin coats) and down jackets (mid-length or maxi) will be in demand. If your second layer has a loose fit, the third layer should also be oversized. And if you're wearing a silhouette sweater or a dress, you can additionally emphasize the waist with outerwear with a belt.
Don't forget to insulate your head with a two-layer hat made of natural fabrics that covers your ears, your hands with woolen mittens, and your feet with shoes with a high waterproof top and thick soles.
