Usyk defeated Fury in a rematch

Just two days after the former world champion Tyson Fury announced his retirement, reporters from the British tabloid Mirror caught his compatriot at a gas station in Lancashire. The 36-year-old boxer was holding a can of Monster energy drink before getting into a car.

"Unexpectedly, Fury has been ignoring his own energy drink brand, Furocity, which he launched in 2022," the article says.

Fury's decision to end his career has scuppered plans for a possible British mega-fight with Anthony Joshua, which could have brought both participants around £150 million.

After Tyson's defeat to Usyk and Joshua's devastating knockout of Daniel Dubois in September, fans were hoping that the two Brits would finally meet in the ring this year.

Although many doubt and believe that Fury will return, his longtime promoter Frank Warren urged the star to enjoy a well-deserved rest.

In an interview with the BBC, he said: "God bless him if that's his decision. It's wonderful. He's done everything he can. He's definitely the best British heavyweight of his generation. Two-time world champion, two hard fights with Usyk. He has money, he's in his right mind, he has a great family.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, promoter Eddie Hearn is sure that Tyson Fury should announce his return to the professional ring if he wants to hold a box office fight with Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs).

It is important to note that Tyson has already announced his retirement twice. In 2017, he announced his retirement from boxing after defeating Volodymyr Klychko, and in 2022, after defeating Dillian Whyte (30-3, 20 KOs). After those statements, Fury returned to the ring a few months later.

Last year, the Briton suffered two defeats against Oleksandr Usyk. In addition, Fury's mysterious words about ending his career were revealed.
