Russians do not stop attacking civilians in the Kharkiv region. On the morning of August 2, the occupiers hit a bus with people in the Dergachiv community with a drone: people were injured, all of them construction workers, and one of the wounded is in serious condition.

Another arrival was recorded near a residential building in Kupiansk, with a victim and an injured person. This was reported by the head of Kharkiv regional military administration Oleh Syniehubov.

"At about 9:00 a.m., the occupants hit a bus with people in Derhachiv community with a drone. Six civilians were injured, five in moderate condition and one in serious condition. All the victims are construction workers," the statement said.

Syniehubov added that law enforcement and emergency services are working at the scene of another terrorist attack by Russian troops.

Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine noted that a total of seven people were injured in the enemy strike.

Around 1 p.m., Syniehubov reported another Russian crime: The invaders attacked Kupiansk.

"Unfortunately, a civilian woman was killed. Another woman was wounded and hospitalized. The enemy hit near the residential building where the victims were staying. The details are being established," said the head of the JFO.

The police of the Kharkiv region clarified that the attack on Kupiansk was launched at about 11:40 a.m. According to preliminary data, the Russians hit the residential sector of the city with a cluster munition.

"Two local residents were wounded in the shelling, one of them, a woman born in 1958, died. The second woman, who was wounded, was hospitalized. The investigative team of the Kupiansk police department, criminalists, and explosives experts arrived at the scene. Investigators opened criminal proceedings over the violation of the laws and customs of war under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine," the regional police said.

As a reminder, the day before, on August 1, Russians attacked the Mykolaiv region with drones. The occupiers hit a kindergarten in the Kutsurubska community. Fortunately, the institution was closed, so there were no casualties.

The occupiers also killed a mother and daughter in Nikopol. The younger woman was 40 years old, the older one was 72 years old – she died on her birthday.
