The new Kia Sportage crossover for the 2026 model year is a long-awaited rival to the Toyota RAV4 and other similar models. The inexpensive car was officially shown in new photos.
OBOZ.UA reminds that this is a modernized version of the popular Kia Sportage model. The crossover has already been shown for the home market, and now for the United States. It remains to wait for the shortened European version, which will also be available to Ukrainian buyers.

The new Kia Sportage has a completely different front end. The bumpers and exterior lighting have been replaced, and new wheels have been added. The multimedia system was updated and the monitors were enlarged. The lineup includes gasoline variants (187 hp), a hybrid (231 hp), and the Kia Sportage PHEV plug-in hybrid (268 hp).

The price of the Kia Sportage in the home Korean market starts at $20,600. However, the car will be more expensive on the global market. For example, the current model in the United States costs at least $27,000. This is something to consider.
