Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) featherweight champion Max Holloway (26-7) scored a spectacular victory at UFC 300. 25-5) and won the BMF [The Baddest Motherfucker] lightweight belt that had been held by Gaethje.

The fight took place in an uncompromising cut on the part of both fighters and ended in a fantastic denouement. At the last second of the last, 5th round, Gaethje missed a powerful side kick to the head and fell unconscious.

This victory was dubbed the most insane victory in the history of the promotion on social media.
