Levchenko and Kishchenko got married
Famous Ukrainian athlete Yuliia Levchenko, who competes in the high jump, has married runner Yurii Kishchenko. The couple had been in a relationship for more than seven years and now decided to legalize it with a wedding.
The relevant videos and photos were posted on the Instagram page of another high jumper, Iryna Herashchenko. The ceremony, where Levchenko wore a white dress and white sneakers, took place in Kyiv.
Yurii Kishchenko is a multiple champion of Ukraine in middle distance running. The Odesa resident's crown is the 1500-meter distance.
Levchenko is considered one of the most beautiful athletes in the country. The 26-year-old native of Bakhmut won the 2014 Youth Olympic Games and took silver at the 2017 World Championships. Yuliia took eighth place at the Tokyo 2020 Games.
Now the athlete is waiting for the start of her third Olympics. In Paris, she will compete in the high jump section alongside Herashchenko and world record holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh.
