Bansko, Bulgaria

Bansko is located in the Blagoevgrad region at an altitude of 936 meters above sea level. The town is at the foot of the Pirin Massif. The season lasts from December to April.

The resort is part of the National Nature Park, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

There is a wide range of trails for all skill levels - from beginners to professionals. The complex has 15 modern ski lifts: high-speed gondolas, as well as comfortable chair and drag lifts. The total length of the roads is more than 75 kilometers.

By the way, the snow cover is checked in the morning and evening, in particular before opening and after closing.

Poiana Brașov, Romania

Located in the eponymous area at the foot of Postăvarul Massif at an altitude of over 1,030 meters above sea level. The resort is surrounded by coniferous forests. The season lasts from December to March.

There are 11 trails of varying degrees of difficulty: for slalom, downhill, etc. The total length is about 15 kilometers. There are also 9 ski lifts. Travelers are allowed to ski at any time of the day, even at night.

A 3-day ski-pass will cost approximately €92, for children - €48.

Jasná, Slovakia

Located in the Low Tatras in the Demanovska Valley. The season lasts from December to April.

There are 33 pistes on the territory: 5 black, 14 red and 14 blue. There are also 18 lifts: chairlifts, rope tows, and cabins. Tourists will be able to rent ski equipment and supplies here.

A 3-day ski-pass will cost about €190, for children - €130, for pensioners and students - €152. By the way, the town of Liptovský Svätý Mikuláš is located 14 kilometers away. It also boasts a ski resort and one of the largest water parks in Central Europe.

Špindlerův Mlýn, Czech Republic

Located in the Trutnov district of the Královéhradecký kraj at the foot of the Giant Mountains. It is the only premium resort in the country. It is located on 3 peaks: Medvědín  (1,235), Horní Mísečky (1,040) and Pláň  (1,198). The season starts in December and ends in April.

There are 16 lifts and 20 trails. Please note that the cable car is open from 8:30 to 16:00.

There is also a lot of entertainment available here: restaurants, discos, nightclubs, cinemas, indoor pools, tennis, fitness centers, etc.

A 1-day ski-pass will cost approximately €64, for children - €45, for students and pensioners - €50.

Kopaonik, Serbia

Located south of Belgrade at an altitude of 1,700 meters above sea level. The highest point of the mountain range is Pančić Peak (2,017).

In addition to various slopes for skiers and snowboarders, the resort has special children's areas. Thus, kids are constantly under the supervision of experienced instructors. There are more than 70 kilometers of trails.

For those who enjoy evening skiing, we recommend choosing the illuminated Malo Jezero area.

By the way, the artificial snow system covers about 97% of the slopes. There are 24 ski lifts, including four- and six-seater lifts and rope tows.

There is also a park where you can watch domestic and international competitions.

A 3-day ski-pass from November 15 to December 19 will cost approximately €72, for children - €50, and for pensioners - €60. Please note that the prices will continue to rise.
