Tastier than chicken: juicy baked quail for the holiday table
If you want to cook tasty and juicy quail, be sure to marinate them in a mustard marinade with honey and soy sauce. This marinade will make the meat very juicy.
The cook shared a recipe for delicious, juicy baked quail with mustard and garlic on Instagram.
Ingredients:
- Quail – two small ones
- Garlic – two cloves
- Dry ginger – 1 teaspoon
- Grainy mustard – 2 teaspoons
- Mustard – 1 teaspoon
- Honey – 1/2 teaspoon
- Olive oil – 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce – 2 tablespoons
Method of preparation:
1. Cut the quail on the back and beat off.
2. Prepare the marinade: garlic, dry ginger, grainy mustard, regular mustard, honey, oil, and soy sauce. Mix well.
3. Pour the marinade over the quail and season with pepper.
4. Put it in the oven at 180 degrees for 40 minutes. After 30 minutes, turn to the other side and bake for another 10 minutes.
