Supercomputer names Shakhtar's chances of reaching Champions League play-offs

Shakhtar Donetsk retains its chances of reaching the Champions League knockout stages. On Wednesday, January 29, Marino Pušic's team will play the final match of the first phase of the tournament, in which the representatives of Ukraine will face Borussia Dortmund.

In order not to finish the fight after the League, Shakhtar need not only to beat Borussia with as much goal difference as possible but also to hope that Dinamo Zagreb and Manchester City will lose points and that Sporting Lisbon and Benfica will lose, as well as PSG or Stuttgart.

Opta is also almost certain that Liverpool will finish first in the standings, three points ahead of Barcelona.
