Dubois evaluated the rematch of Usyk and Fury

The owner of the International Boxing Federation (IBF) belt Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) expressed confidence that he will be able to beat Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs). At the same time, the British heavyweight champion noted the fairness of the Ukrainian's victory over Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) in the rematch.

Dubois expressed this opinion in an interview with Box Nation YouTube channel. The 27-year-old Londoner added that the fact that our compatriot clearly looked better at the end of the fight, managing to take the decisive rounds and tip the scales in his favor, helped him to defeat Fury for the second time.

"He's gone through all the Brits. Someone has to stop him. The rematch with Fury was very close, in my opinion, but Usyk beat him in a couple of rounds. It was a great fight between two top fighters. But when I watched the fight, I thought I was better than them and I thought I was ready to make a fight with Usyk or Fury. Now I'm the champion and I intend to move forward as a champion," said Dubois.

As a reminder, Usyk defeated Dubois by TKO in the ninth round in August 2023, and the Briton was notorious for a dirty punch below the belt. After the Ukrainian Fury's rematch, the boxer from London jumped into the ring and demanded a rematch from Oleksandr. Daniel has already explained his actions.

Manager Egis Klimas told us when Usyk plans to return to the ring. Artificial intelligence has already predicted the Ukrainian's fight.

Earlier it became known that Usyk may give up one of the championship belts to return to the ring of the legendary Wladimir Klitschko (64-5-0-1, 54 KOs).
