In Kyiv, a German woman, Diana Wagner, a combat medic of the Carpathian Sich battalion, said goodbye. She was killed on January 30 in the Svatove area while saving wounded Colombian soldiers of the Ukrainian army.

This was reported by an OBOZ.UA correspondent. The girl loved our culture, traditions and was waiting to receive Ukrainian citizenship.

On Wednesday, February 14, German Diana Wagner, a combat medic of the Carpathian Sich battalion, said goodbye at St. Michael's Cathedral in Kyiv. Her family, friends and comrades-in-arms came to see her off. Diana was the chief medic of the 3rd Assault Hundred. She had the call sign "Snake".

"She rushed to the rescue of wounded soldiers in the hottest spots of the front. Absolute dedication, German organization, focus in actions and speed of decision-making against the background of medical education saved many lives of Ukrainian soldiers. Her love for Ukraine should be noted separately. Above all, she wanted to defeat the enemy, and then planned to live in a prosperous liberated country," the Carpathian Sich said.

Diana was born on June 21, 1987 in Germany. She loved Ukrainian culture and traditions, studied the language, and was waiting to obtain Ukrainian citizenship. She spent more than two years at the front.

According to her comrades, Snake was a brave and professional combat medic. Always at the forefront, always the first to go under enemy fire, she did not hesitate to rescue the wounded. Diana Wagner's professionalism and heroism saved the lives of dozens of Sich members.

She died on January 30 in the Svatove direction while saving wounded Colombian soldiers of the Ukrainian army.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, a soldier from Kyiv region Akhmedov Sabir Samir Ogly died at the front while performing a combat mission. The life of the Ukrainian defender ended on February 8 in Donetsk region.
