State Emergency Service of Ukraine shows consequences of Russian drone attack on Kyiv region

On the night of February 16,air defense forces shot down a number of Russian attack drones over Kyiv region. The attack caused damage in several areas.

This was reported by the acting head of the Kyiv Regional Military Administration Mykola Kalashnyk. He emphasized that there were no casualties.

"The enemy has once again targeted Kyiv region with UAVs. The air raid alert lasted more than five hours. Air defense forces were working in the region, shooting down the drones," he wrote.

According to him, there are no hits to critical infrastructure facilities. However, there was a fire and a roof of a production warehouse, as well as private house, were damaged in Boryspil district.

In Brovary district, six private houses were damaged, with windows smashed and roofs and facades crushed.

"Operational groups continue to work on fixing the consequences of the enemy attack. All people whose homes have been damaged will be provided with the necessary assistance," the RMA said.

As reported, on February 12, the aggressor country Russia attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. The falling debris damaged office buildings in the Obolon district and created a deep crater. One person was killed, and a child was among the injured.
