Salad "Queen of Snakes" for the New Year 2025: what to cook

The new year 2025 is the year of the Wooden Snake. And it's best to prepare light and tasty salads from fresh vegetables and herbs for the New Year's table.

The FoodOboz editorial team shares a recipe for a delicious and spectacular Queen of Snakes salad for the New Year's table.

Ingredients:

• potatoes - 3-4 pcs.
• eggs - 4 pcs.
• sardines - 1 can
• processed cheese - 1 pc.
• pickled cucumbers - 3 pcs.
• corn - 50 g
• greens
• mayonnaise
• salt, pepper

Method of preparation:

1. Grate boiled eggs and potatoes, processed cheese, garlic. Mash the sardines with a fork.

2. Pour all the ingredients into a bowl, season with salt and pepper. Add mayonnaise and mix. Form a "snake" from the mixture.

3. Finely chop the greens and cucumbers into slices. Decorate the "body" of the snake with sliced cucumbers and the "head" with corn. Boiled carrots or pickled cucumbers can be used to make a crown for the "queen of snakes" and black peas can be used to make eyes. Top the salad with chopped herbs!
