Russian propaganda outlets have started spreading information that unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) is allegedly trying to obtain a residence permit in Spain. The so-called journalists provided a photo of our compatriot as evidence.

The picture was published by the Telegram channel "Operative Bulletins", which actively supports Russia's criminal war against Ukraine and is engaged in fake news aimed at our country. It claims that the photo shows Usyk standing in line "in a government office in Spain."

The date of the photo and its location are not specified. However, it is known for certain that the day before Usyk went to the fight between Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) and Francis Ngannou (0-0, 0 KOs) and has already arrived in Saudi Arabia. After the boxing night, Oleksandr will return to Kyiv to begin preparations for the fight with Fury.
