On Monday, August 26, Russian occupants launched a combined attack on the Poltava region. An industrial facility, a private house, and critical and civilian infrastructure were hit. Six people were injured.

The head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Filip Pronin, and the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office reported the results of the shelling on Telegram. It is noted that UAV debris damaged a private house in the Lubny district. A woman who lived there was injured. Five more people were injured as a result of the shelling of an industrial facility.

According to Pronin, preventive and emergency power outages were introduced in the region due to the shelling. Later they were canceled and a schedule of hourly blackouts was introduced – from 14:30 to 23:59, four stages will be applied simultaneously. Local authorities urged citizens to conserve electricity, especially during peak hours.

The Poltava Regional Prosecutor's Office has launched a pre-trial investigation into criminal proceedings over violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Emergency services are working at the scene.

As a reminder, on August 26, Russia launched a combined attack on Ukraine, using kamikaze drones and various types of missiles. After the nighttime explosions from Shaheds, in the morning they were followed by cruise missiles and ballistic missiles in many cities: damage, casualties, and emergency power outages were reported.

15 regions have been affected by the Russian massive attack today. The enemy used various types of weapons: UAVs, cruise missiles, and "Kinzhals". There are wounded and dead.

– On August 26, Russian terrorists attacked the Dniprovskyi district of Kherson, and in Zolota Balka they dropped explosives from a UAV on a civilian car. At least 5 people were injured in the attack: two men and three women.

– On August 26, Russians massively attacked the Dniprovskyi and Kryvyi Rih districts of the Dnipro region. A 69-year-old man was killed and another injured as a result of the war crime.

– There were also explosions in Kyiv during an air raid. The Russian occupiers launched missiles at the Ukrainian capital, and air defense systems were activated. The head of the KRMA, Serhii Popko, said that the main target of the complex, the combined attack of all these numerous cruise, ballistic, aerial ballistic missiles and attack drones was infrastructure.
