Russians hit civilian infrastructure in Dergachi, Kharkiv region: children are among the victims. Photos and videos
On Thursday, May 2, Russian war criminals attacked civilian infrastructure in Dergachi, Kharkiv district, with multiple rocket launchers. As a result of the attack, 9 people were injured, including 8 children.
A 75-year-old man was also wounded. The head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov, reported on the consequences of the war crime in Telegram.
"Two of the children received light injuries to their limbs, four were moderately injured. All the victims were hospitalized. The 75-year-old man was treated on the spot," the official said.
Specialized services are working at the site of the shelling. Viacheslav Zadorenko, the head of Dergachi's CMA, said that private houses were also damaged.
Later, Syniehubov said that the number of victims had increased to eight.
"One of the boys has an acute stress reaction, the other has light injuries," the head of the RMA said.
According to Kharkiv police, the injured children were in a sports club at the time of the attack. There was also a hit to the ground on the territory of the enterprise, and a fire broke out there.
Synehubov confirmed that there were two hits: near the sports club and into the ground on the territory.
"A total of 8 children and 1 elderly man were injured as a result of the Russian strike. Among the victims are two 11-year-olds, two 12-year-olds, and two children aged 13 and 15. Their condition is of moderate severity," he said.
One of the boys suffered an acute stress reaction, and another had minor injuries. There is no need for hospitalization.
"Undisguised terror in broad daylight against children and the elderly. Not a single military facility nearby!" emphasized the head of the RMA.
The Office of the Prosecutor General has previously reported that the enemy struck the city with UIPM D30-SN (unified interspecies planning munition, 30 cm caliber). The Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office launched a pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As a reminder, on the evening of May 1, Russia launched a ballistic missile attack on Odesa. After the explosions, a massive fire broke out in the sorting depot and the Nova Poshta office. The building where the Agromarket company, which deals with plants, is based, was also destroyed.
In total, 14 people sustained mostly minor injuries as a result of the attack, and one person was hospitalized.
