Russian troops attacked Kharkiv region during the night and day on October 13. A man was injured in Kupyansk as a result of the attack.

A nighttime shelling of Borova village in Izium district damaged private and apartment buildings, shops and administrative buildings. Details of new war crimes committed by the Russian Federation were disclosed by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Thus, the occupiers attacked Kupiansk with an FPV drone: at about 10 am, it exploded on an open plot of land in the city. As a result of the explosion, a man of 56 years old was injured who was walking near the site of the hit.

Borova, on the other hand, came under massive shelling around 02:50 am. According to preliminary data, the Russians covered the village with fire from Smerch MLRS.

The shelling was truly devastating: private households, apartment buildings, administrative buildings, and shops were damaged. Given the fact that the enemy attacked in the middle of the night, the absence of casualties looks almost miraculous.

"Under the procedural supervision of the Kupiansk and Izium District Prosecutor's Offices of Kharkiv Region, pre-trial investigations have been launched into violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Prosecutors and police investigators are taking all possible and appropriate measures to document war crimes committed by Russian military personnel," the regional prosecutor's office summarized.

As a reminder, last night Russia attacked Ukraine with four missiles and 68 Shaheds. Air defense forces shot down 31 kamikaze drones, and another 36 Russian drones were lost in the area.

Also, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky told how many aerial bombs, missiles and drones Russia used in a week and pointed out the need for air defense.
