Russia targets Kyiv region with drones again: private house on fire, there is a victim and two injured. Photo and video
On February 25, a fire broke out in a two-story private house in the Bucha district of Kyiv region as a result of an enemy drone attack, and later rescuers found the body of a woman. In the same area, a 19-year-old woman was injured, suffering a head wound. She was hospitalized.
Another victim was treated on the spot. Mykola Kalashnyk, acting head of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, reported on the consequences of the Russian attack on the region on Telegram.
Around midnight, he wrote that emergency services continued to work at the scene, eliminating the consequences.
"The attack of enemy UAVs continues. Please stay in shelters until the danger passes," the official urged Ukrainians.
The National Police of Ukraine reported that a blast wave damaged windows in houses in the Buchanskyi district. Also, a two-story private house caught fire, and rescuers were working to eliminate the fire.
"A private house, a garage and a car were damaged in the same area. A 19-year-old woman was injured in the attack. The victim was taken to a local hospital," the statement said.
In the morning it became known about the victim of the enemy attack.
"Unfortunately, one person was killed and two were injured as a result of a nighttime enemy UAV attack in Kyiv region. The body of the deceased was found during the firefighting of a two-story private house in Bucha district. Our condolences to the family and friends. The fire was extinguished over an area of 200 square meters," said Kalashnyk.
A man born in 1981 was also wounded in the same village: he sustained an injury to his right hand. The victim did not need hospitalization.
"According to preliminary information, as a result of the enemy attack in Bucha district, five private houses were damaged, windows of apartments in four multi-story residential buildings were blown out, two garage premises were damaged, three vehicles were destroyed and eight were damaged. Operational groups continue to work on eliminating the consequences of the overnight attack," added Kalashnyk.
According to Anatoliy Shchadyl, head of the Kyiv Region Police, they continue to document the consequences of the enemy attack.
"In Bucha district, eight private houses, two garages, a fence, eight cars were damaged and three cars were destroyed. During the firefighting of a two-story private house, the body of a deceased person was found. Four more high-rise buildings were damaged in the same area. In addition, a 19-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man were injured," the statement said.
A criminal investigation into a war crime was opened.
