On the morning of Saturday, November 11, an explosion was heard in one of the districts at around 8:00. An air raid alert was announced, warning of a missile threat.

This was reported by the mayor of the capital, Vitaliy Klychko. Residents were urged to take shelter.

"Strong explosions were heard on the left bank of the capital. According to preliminary information, the air defense forces were triggered by ballistic missiles. The alert continues. Stay in shelters!" Klytchko urged.

The mayor added that, as of 8:45 a.m., air defense forces were working near Kyiv on the left bank. There have been no rescue calls in the capital so far.

"There were a few calls for medics, but no victims were found. People called when they heard strong explosions. The alert is ongoing. Stay in shelters!" Klychko urged once again.

As a reminder, on the evening of November 10, Russian troops attacked the Odesa region with missiles. As a result of the missile strikes, two hits were recorded in the Odesa district. One of the missiles hit the port infrastructure (presumably, a Russian anti-ship missile "Onyx", which is extremely difficult to shoot down with available air defense systems), while the other hit a dacha cooperative.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the night of November 11, Russia attacked Ukraine with kamikaze drones, in particular, enemy targets flew in the direction of the capital. All enemy drones were destroyed on the outskirts of Kyiv.
