"Russia is an absolute hegemon": Russia's top propagandist is furious over World Cup suspension
Famous Russian commentator Dmitry Guberniev, who hosted the Z-concert in Luzhniki in March 2022, criticized the International Ski Federation (FIS) for refusing to return Russian athletes to their competitions. The propagandist accused the organization of harming athletes, and that tournaments are impossible without representatives of the aggressor country.
Guberniev said this in a comment to the RIA Novosti news agency. The journalist began to give advice to the FIS on how the organization should function, which, according to him, "is seeing a decline in viewership, and everything in skiing is bad, the sport is dying," which is exacerbated by the absence of Russian representatives at the World Cup.

"The FIS board had better think about what is happening to skiing, because they are killing skiing. Russia is an absolute hegemon, not only does it not compete, but the distances have been equalized for men and women, and the organization of the competition is terrible. Their viewership is falling, and everything in skiing is bad, and there are no Russians. The sport is dying, and the FIS is putting nails in the coffin. You can give them a flag with a skull and bones in it, let them go around Europe and wave it," Guberniev said.
Earlier, two-time Olympic biathlon champion Dmitry Vasiliev issued a rant about the Swedes after skier Lynn Swan refused to compete with Russian athletes.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, two-time Olympic champion Olga Zaitseva complained that "everyone in the world has turned their backs" on Russia for no reason.
