On Tuesday, September 3, the Russian occupiers fired two ballistic missiles at Poltava. The Institute of Communications was hit. The attack killed at least 41 people and injured 180 others.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Telegram. Many people were trapped under the rubble. Thanks to the coordinated work of rescuers and medics, 25 people were rescued, 11 of whom were unblocked from the rubble.

The ministry reported that the time interval between the air raid alarm and the hit of the deadly missiles was so short that it caught people at the moment of evacuation to the bomb shelter.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the number of people killed and wounded in the attack on his Telegram. He ordered a full and prompt investigation into all the circumstances of the incident.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said that rescuers have localized the fire and continue to clear the rubble. All the victims are immediately transferred to doctors for medical care.

It is noted that there is a residential area near the impact site. The shock wave smashed out the glass in the high-rise buildings and damaged the facades. About a hundred statements from citizens about damaged property have already been recorded.

"The works are ongoing. The rescue services will work with due regard to the safety component until we are sure that we have unblocked everyone from the rubble," said Klymenko, expressing his condolences to the families of the victims.

As reported, on September 2, the occupiers fired missiles at Dnipro. There were explosions in the city, and residential buildings were damaged. A 51-year-old man died as a result of an enemy missile attack, and there are injuries.

On the night of September 3, the Russian terrorist army carried out a targeted massive shelling of the railroad. The railway infrastructure in Sumy and Dnipropetrovsk regions came under enemy fire.
