The main shades of summer 2024 nails mostly resembled Hailey Bieber's buttery yellow manicure or were new interpretations of the classic French manicure. But the summer season is coming to an end, and trendsetters are already presenting fall trends to the public.
The famous singer Rihanna set the trend for a rich purple color. Marie Claire magazine told us more about the celebrity's anti-summer manicure.
Earlier, Zendaya and Selena Gomez jointly set the trend for red nails, effectively bringing the traditional winter shade into warm weather. Rihanna went further by painting her nails plum purple – nail technicians called it an "anti-summer manicure".
A rich violet shade, in contrast to summer colors, creates the effect of sophistication and elegance. Bright neon tones and sparkles were especially relevant in the summer, as they are associated with the sun, beach, and vacation.
Famous nail artist Tom Bacik emphasized that deep purple will become the top shade of the off-season.
