Peskov wanted to refute information about Putin's illness

Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov tried to deny rumors about Putin's illness. He also called the information about the Russian dictator's double "absurd".

Peskov's statements were published in one of the Russian Telegram channels. In this way, Putin's spokesman wanted to refute the information spread by Western media that the Russian dictator has serious heart problems.

Earlier, information appeared online that the Russian president had suffered a cardiac arrest on Sunday evening, October 22. It was reported that Putin became ill in one of his residences, fell in his bedroom and convulsed on the floor, rolling his eyes. The Russian dictator was found lying on the floor by members of his security service, who called for a doctor.

At the same time, Peskov denied this information and claimed that Putin was allegedly "in good health" and that the rumors about his illness were just an "information duck".

"This belongs to the category of absurd information ducks that a number of media outlets are discussing with persistence. And, of course, it does not cause anything but a smile" Peskov also said, refuting the information about the Russian president's double.

As a reminder, the head of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, has again hinted at the existence of Russian President Vladimir Putin's doubles. According to him, the Kremlin dictator, who is familiar to the viewer, was last seen in public last year, around June 26.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Russian oppositionist Olga Kurnosova said that the Kremlin is waiting for Putin to die, and that he may not live to see the "elections". The oppositionist also noted that in such dictatorial regimes, only the removal of the first person can change the situation.

Earlier, a representative of the GUR, Andriy Yusov, said that the suitcases with which Russian President Vladimir Putin travels do not pose a nuclear threat, so Ukrainians should not worry about it. The Kremlin dictator takes black suitcases with him "not out of courage."
