Michelle Yeoh wins the Oscar for Best Actress
On the night of March 12-13, the prestigious Oscar Awards ceremony took place at the famous Dolby Theater in Los Angeles. The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences named the best actress of 2023, who was chosen among five nominees.
The coveted golden statuette was awarded to Michelle Yeoh, who played the lead role in the movie Everything Always and at the Same Time. OBOZREVATEL learned about this while watching a live broadcast from the ceremony on Suspilne Kultura TV channel.
Michelle Yeoh is a Malaysian actress and dancer of Chinese descent, one of the 50 most beautiful people in the world according to People magazine in 1997.
The actress became known for her work in action films of the 1990s. She also became famous for her role in the James Bond film Tomorrow Never Dies (1997) and the martial arts film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000).
