The new Renault Twingo E-Tech model will be launched as a product of the Ampere brand. The subsidiary will prepare several news for the budget segment. The inexpensive car was shown in new photos on the network.
As OBOZ.UA reminds, the new 4th generation Renault Twingo refers to the original model of the 90s, which proved to be a very successful economical car. The successor will be a cheap electric car.
It is still a concept, but the main solutions should reach mass production by 2026 almost unchanged. This applies to the silhouette, round lighting and hidden tailgate handles. And the wheels will probably get smaller.
The exact characteristics have not yet been announced, but previously they promised best-in-class efficiency of 10 kWh/100 km. Thus, with the help of a simple calculation, we can assume that the new Twingo will receive a compact, cheap battery for a decent range. For example, a 30 kWh battery pack will be enough for 300 km of driving range.
The main rivals for the Renault Twingo E-Tech electric car will be the Citroen e-C3, Fiat Panda, and new Volkswagen models.
