New inexpensive Honda model to surprise buyers with its specs
Honda will relaunch an inexpensive sports car model that will surprise and delight customers with its performance. We already know something about this new car.
According to Motor1, Honda Motor Company has filed an application for registration of the Acura RSX trademark. About 20 years ago, this inexpensive sports car left the Japanese company's model lineup.
Perhaps, another car will be sold under this name, which will soon be put back into production. It is known that Honda is preparing to debut an inexpensive model of the sports segment, which is known as the Prelude coupe.
In 2023, the Honda Prelude concept was shown at the Tokyo Motor Show. The elegant sports coupe looked like a production-ready car. It is expected that in 2025, the new model will be produced almost unchanged.
According to current information, the coupe will receive an economical powertrain from the Honda Accord and Civic hybrid models. The power will be 207 hp, but this is still preliminary data. It is interesting that, in addition to the usual variator in hybrid systems, the manufacturer will also offer a manual transmission.
