New budget Renault Duster 3rd generation is twice as expensive as Dacia

Budget crossover Renault Duster 3 is a long-awaited novelty. The car went into production and has already gone on sale. But the price turned out to be twice as high as the identical Dacia Duster 2024 model.

The details are reported by Motor1. The new 3rd generation Dacia Duster went on sale in the European market a few months ago with a price of around 19,000 euros. The price of the Renault Duster 2024 was higher - from 35,000 euros. Almost twice as expensive!

So far, the budget crossover Renault is presented on the Turkish market. There are very high taxes there, so the price of the car has changed so much. Technically, Renault Duster is fully consistent with Dacia, but there are some differences in design.

The front is distinguished by the grille between the headlights with a large full-width Renault inscription. In the case of Dacia, this element is represented by a new logo and decorative stripes. At the back on the trunk door there is a diamond-shaped logo of the French brand, and the Romanian crossover has an inscription with the name of the company. Otherwise - the design is the same.

Engines Dacia and Renault Duster 3 generation:

• 1 liter turbo petrol (100 hp);
• petrol turbo 1.2 liter (hybrid, 130 hp);
• petrol turbo 1.6 liter (hybrid, 140-145 hp).

The equipment in the Renault and Dacia Duster 2024 is identical: digital dashboard, 10-inch touchscreen multimedia system with navigation, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, cruise control, parktronic, 6 airbags. Also in the list of equipment there is keyless access, climate control, rearview camera, wireless charging for smartphone, audio system with 6 speakers.
