Mudryk gets a new coach at Chelsea
Italian specialist Enzo Maresca has become the new head coach of Chelsea, the London club whose colors are defended by Ukraine winger Mykhailo Mudryk. The 44-year-old former Leicester coach signed a contract with the capital's club until the summer of 2029.
This is stated on the official website of Chelsea. Maresca replaced the Argentine Mauricio Pochettino as coach of the Aristocrats, who led the London team to the Conference League.
"It is a dream come true for any coach to join Chelsea, one of the world's great clubs. That is why I am so excited about this opportunity. I look forward to working with a very talented group of players and staff to build a team that will continue the club's tradition of success and make our fans proud," commented Maresca.
The Italian previously worked as an assistant in the coaching staffs of Ascoli, Sevilla, Manchester City, West Ham, and Parma. Enzo's first experience of working independently was when he joined Leicester in 2023. Maresca immediately returned the Foxes to the Premier League, winning the Championship.
