Mercedes shows its cheapest electric car for 2026

The new Mercedes CLA, which will be fully disclosed in 2025, will be the German company's cheapest electric car. The next-generation car was shown in the photo.

It is reported by Carscoops. The Mercedes CLA sedan of the 2026 model year is now undergoing road tests. This time, the photo shows a car with a fully finished body, although there is still camouflage on the front and rear.

Nevertheless, this is the first time we can see such large open areas. It is noticeable that the side glazing line was made in the style of a huge Mercedes EQS electric car. It turned out very elegant.

The new 3rd generation Mercedes-Benz CLA will receive a wide range of powertrains. And in the EV version, it will become the most affordable electric car of the brand. The manufacturer has previously revealed some of the secrets of the long-awaited novelty.

Thanks to the use of the modern Mercedes Modular Architecture (MMA), the next CLA will receive an all-electric powertrain (270-380 hp) for the first time in addition to a range of modifications with gasoline engines and hybrids.
