The new 3rd generation Mazda CX-5 crossover has hit the roads for tests before the premiere. This is a long-awaited rival to the Toyota RAV4 and other cars in the segment. A new hybrid variant will take the center stage in the lineup of the inexpensive model.

The car was shown in live photo, caught during road tests. There is a camouflage film on the body. Therefore, it is difficult to see small details. This is reported by Carscoops.

Nevertheless, the 3rd generation Mazda CX-5 is being actively prepared for the premiere, which is expected to take place in the second half of 2025. The car will also feature a hybrid powertrain, as such options are gaining popularity in the segment.

The crossover segment seems to be eternal. And Mazda's success in this area has shown that such models can be brought to market almost every year, as the compact Mazda CX-30 and CX-50 models are in demand.

Several cars were also added to the premium sector, a new one for the company - the Mazda CX-60, CX-70, CX-80 and CX-90 crossovers proved to be an inexpensive alternative to BMW, Audi and Lexus and were popular with buyers.
