List of St. Nicholas residences in Kyiv, Lviv and other Ukrainian cities

Believing in miracles is an integral part of childhood, which we want to preserve in adulthood. St. Nicholas' residences are already open in many major cities of Ukraine to bring Christmas cheer, strengthen faith, and create moments that will warm the soul of everyone in the family. Let's find out where and how to meet St. Nicholas and give a letter in person. Spoiler alert: there are three fabulous options in the capital.

We remind you that St. Nicholas Day is celebrated in Ukraine on December 6 according to the new church calendar.

Lviv

The city where Ukrainian Christmas lives has long since begun preparations for the holiday of faith and hope. You can meet St. Nicholas in Lviv at several locations.

• Shevchenkivskyi Hai, 1 Chernecha Hora St. The residence of St. Nicholas is open until December 6 inclusive. The program includes a quest to find the Miracleworker's hut, goodies and festive master classes. Entrance fee: 300 to 400 UAH.
• Patriarshyi Dim, 35 B, Ivan Pavel Ave. 2. The residence is open every day until December 15 inclusive. The program includes a festive performance, master classes, goodies and gifts. Entrance fee: 400 UAH (child + accompanying person).

• Dragon Park, 202, Stryiska St. The residence is open until December 8 inclusive. On December 6, the territory will host a show program and master classes. Entrance fee: 350 to 400 UAH.
• St. Nicholas House in the Domazhyr Bear Sanctuary. The residence is open until December 7 inclusive. The ticket price is 450 UAH.
• Terytoria Rizdva, Yastrubychi village. The residence will be open until December 30 inclusive. Gifts and treats are organized for children and adults. Ticket price: children - 500 UAH, adults - 100 UAH.

Kyiv

The capital is invincible, decorated, and boasts several residences of St. Nicholas for a miracle encounter.

• Great Bell Tower of the Kyiv Pechersk Lavra, 9 Lavrska Street. A very atmospheric and inspirational location that will give faith in miracles to its visitors until December 25 (Saturdays and Sundays), 5, 6 and 19 are also open to the public from 12.00 to 16.00. Get ready for a master classes, an arch of wishes, and a coveted photo with St. Nicholas. Visitors will also be able to see the Intergenerational Mass exhibition as part of the program. Ticket price: preschoolers - free of charge, school-age children and adults - 150 UAH. Follow the program of workshops.
• National Museum of Folk Architecture and Life of Ukraine, 1 Akademika Tronka St. The residence will welcome guests until December 22. A theatrical program and fun games with St. Nicholas included. Ticket price: 350 to 400 UAH.
• Pereiaslav National Historical and Ethnographic Reserve. The residence will be open every day until December 27 inclusive. There will be workshops and games for children. Visits are made by prior reservation.

Rivne

The festive residences of St. Nicholas in Rivne sound like carols and feel like festive mood.

• Ostvytsya Historical Reconstruction Park. A meeting with the "Polissia" St. Nicholas will bring a lot of entertainment, master classes, and delicious surprises. Prepare your Christmas carols in advance or learn them on the spot to get additional surprises. The residence is open until December 15 inclusive. Ticket price is 300 UAH.
• Rivne Zoo. Bright holiday childhood memories live here. Meet St. Nicholas and many interesting animals. You can stay here for more than half a day, getting surprises and receiving gifts not only for yourself but also for the zoo "locals". The location with St. Nicholas is open from 10.00 to 14.00. The ticket price is 450 UAH.

Ternopil

Take a queue in advance every Saturday and Sunday until December 11.

• Theater Square. In addition to the residence and meeting with St. Nicholas, visitors are offered a game program and gifts. Don't miss the festive performance on December 6.

Uman

Uman opened its St. Nicholas hut on November 28.

• Uman Plaza shopping center. The residence is open every day until December 22 inclusive. Write your cherished letter on the spot and give it to the Miracleworker. Ticket price: adult - 80 UAH, children - from 190 to 210 UAH.

Mukachevo

Add castle scenery to your fairy tale.

• Mukachevo Castle (Palanok). The residence of St. Nicholas is located on the territory of the castle and does not require additional tickets. Pay the usual price of 50 to 100 UAH and enjoy a meeting with St. Nicholas among the castle walls and artifacts.
• Zavydovo village. St. Nicholas decorates his house for Christmas and invites everyone to help. Visits are possible individually and in groups, by prior reservation (+38 099 633 5452).

Uzhhorod

If you plan to be in Uzhhorod between December 3 and 8, be sure to meet St. Nicholas.

• Shelest Church. The meeting is possible for a 100 UAH donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. You will be able to talk to the Miracleworker and pray together for the fulfillment of a wish that unites all of Ukraine.
