The further we go, the more we use various messengers in our daily lives. And sometimes their use turns into real chaos. WhatsApp developers have decided to tame it a bit.
This is reported by the messenger's official blog. They spied one useful feature in Telegram. Soon, WhatsApp will be able to sort chats into different lists. In Telegram, such lists are called folders.
This innovation has already been implemented in the current version of Meta messenger and will soon be available to all users. To sort chats, users will now be able to create and name their categories in the already launched conversation filtering mode.
To create lists, tap the "+" icon in the filter bar at the top of the Conversations tab. If you need to edit a list, tap its name and hold it for a few seconds.
"Similar to the Favorites tab, you can add groups and private conversations to the list, and any list you create will be displayed in the filter bar," the developers explained.
The feature is expected to roll out to all WhatsApp users in a few weeks. The update will be available worldwide.
