Kyiv Basket wins its 10th victory in the Favbet Super League season

Prykarpattia-Hoverla and Kyiv-Basket continued the second game day of the Cherkasy basketball tournament after losing close games the day before. Today, the capital's team scored its first victory in the Favbet Superleague with a score of 79:67, which became its tenth of the season.

Kyiv started the match with more confidence: 9:3 in the 4th minute with 7 points from Pavlo Burenko. In two minutes, the score of the capital's club reached double digits (16:6). Dmytro Zabirchenko's team took the opening quarter with great confidence (25:10), outscoring their opponents in terms of field goals, rebounds, and ball movement.

In the second quarter, the Ivano-Frankivsk club's lead reached 24 points. The Hoverla players could do little to counter the opponent in their own three-second zone. Before the big break, however, they narrowed the gap a bit, but Kyiv-Basket went to rest as the clear favorite of the matchup.

In the second half of the game, Dmytro Zabirchenko's men did not lose the initiative. The opponent improved their field goal percentage and began to fight better on the boards, but they made too many mistakes to count on a positive result.

Today's success for the Kyiv club was its 10th in 20 games. The balance of wins and losses for Prykarpattia-Hoverla is now 11-9.

Brantley Bynum was the most productive player for the winners with 25 points. Pavlo Burenko also had a productive match with 20 points. For Hoverla, Stepan Lesyk scored a double-double (14 points + 11 rebounds). Serhii Startsev scored 11 points .
