Juicy chicken thighs with cranberry sauce: a recipe for the New Year's table
If you want to cook chicken thighs deliciously, be sure to add sour berries, they will soften the meat well, making it very juicy. For berry sauces, cranberries, currants, as well as citrus fruits, apples, and rosemary are ideal.

Ingredients:
- Chicken thighs - 2-4 pcs.
- Large red onion - 1 pc.
- Large orange - 1/2 pc.
- Sprigs of rosemary
- Fresh cranberries - 100 g
- Dried cranberries - 50 g
For the cranberry sauce:
- Fresh cranberries - 100 g
- Juice of half an orange
- Sugar 2 tbsp
- Rosemary - 2 sprigs
Method of preparation:
1. Sauce: put all the ingredients for the sauce in a saucepan and cook until thick.
2. In a heat-resistant baking dish, put the onion rings, orange rings, and chicken thighs on top and brush them with the cranberry sauce (reserve some sauce for serving). Sprinkle fresh and dried cranberries on top (leave some fresh for serving) and put rosemary sprigs (also leave some for serving).
3. Add salt, black pepper, and a little olive oil. If you have time, it is advisable to grease everything well, rub the thighs, and leave to marinate for several hours or overnight, if you don't have time, then immediately send it to the oven.
4. Cover the mold with a lid or foil and place in the oven for 25 minutes at 180 degrees, then remove the lid and leave for another 25 minutes or until golden brown.
Garnish the meat with the remaining sauce, fresh rosemary sprigs, and fresh cranberries!
