Hearn evaluates Usyk's rematch with Dubois
British promoter Eddie Hearn expressed confidence that Daniel Dubois (22-2, 21 KOs) will not be able to defeat Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) in a rematch. The head of Matchroom Boxing noted that the Ukrainian is at a completely different level than other representatives of the super-heavyweight division.
Hearn expressed this opinion in an interview with the iFL TV YouTube channel. The promoter of the former two-time world champion Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) emphasized that his victories over his ward and Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) proved his high class and status as a favorite in any fight.
"I just think Usyk is too good. Look, sure, Dubois can hit, he's full of confidence at the moment, but I don't see him beating Usyk," Hearn said.
Usyk and Dubois met in August 2023. Back then, the Ukrainian won by TKO in the ninth round, and the Briton scored a dirty punch below the belt.
Manager Egis Klimas said when Usyk plans to return to the ring. Artificial intelligence has already predicted the Ukrainian's fight.
