"It will still be ours": Lukashenko considers Ukraine "his" region
The self-proclaimed President of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko, has once again spoken cynically about Ukraine. He said, "Ukraine will still be ours," and suggested that the war in Ukraine "has faded into the background" due to the escalation in the Middle East, which he called a "turmoil."
The Belarusian dictator said he had "warned" Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about this. Lukashenko's words at a meeting with employees of the Belarusian nuclear power plant on Friday, November 3, were quoted by the country's propaganda media.
"I warned Zelensky when the war started, I called him and said, "Volodymyr, listen to me, I am an experienced person, I have been working for years. As soon as there is any unrest somewhere, they will forget about you." And that's what's happening: Ukraine is fading into the background," he revealed.
Lukashenko also voiced another batch of nonsense about Ukraine being "our region" and that "we will all be together." The unrecognized head of Belarus also said that the United States is "tearing Europe apart," and soon European states will "crawl to Russia."
According to Lukashenko's fantasies, the behavior of American and European politicians allegedly does not meet the interests of the people, and this makes the Belarusian dictator "want to cry."
He also revealed that the head of the Ukrainian state is allegedly going to "run away somewhere."
By the way, earlier, Lukashenko said that Zelensky was "behaving correctly." "Here we are saying that Zelensky is a beggar, behaving in an uncivilized and dishonorable manner. And I want to say that he is behaving correctly," the unrecognized head of the Republic of Belarus said.
As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the European Parliament recognized Lukashenko as responsible for the aggression against Ukraine and demanded an arrest warrant from the ICC. MEPs consider it necessary to apply sanctions mechanisms against Belarus that are in place against Russia.
