According to The Zoe Report, the main ambassador of the trend is the star manicurist Tom Bachik, who increasingly offers his famous clients what he calls "bare nails." And the trend he created has already been picked up by one of the main fans of nail care – singer Dua Lipa. She gave herself a nude manicure to celebrate the New Year.

On December 31, the star posted several photos on Instagram with the caption "last days of 2024". Several pictures taken during a cocktail party show that Lipa chose elongated almond-shaped nails and painted them with a transparent varnish that was almost indistinguishable from her natural skin tone.

In this way, she went even further and made the design even more invisible than regular nude nails, which are often creamy and opaque. In many cases, a traditional nude manicure can be several shades lighter, brighter, or even pinker than your skin color. The singer of the hit song Levitating made this trend even more delicate.

The undoubted advantage of such a manicure is that it fits almost any outfit and will not distract attention from a well-thought-out look or some special jewelry. For example, fans spotted a gold ring with a diamond on Dua Lipa's little finger.

Regardless of whether the singer had important news for her fans or it was just a piece of jewelry, the delicate manicure allowed her to be the main star of the look. Selena Gomez chose something similar for herself, who made a slightly denser, but still the same trendy nude manicure for her engagement to producer Benny Blanco.
