It became known why Ukrainian actors are prohibited from skiing and playing football: it is prescribed in the contract

When attending theater performances, you will notice that almost all actors in Ukraine are slim and "in shape." The secret is to maintain their physical health. Ukrainian actor and Dovbush star Oleksiy Hnatkovsky noted that even his contract prohibits skiing and football because of the high injury rate of these sports.

In an interview with Espresso.TV, he explained that if one actor has health problems, the entire repertoire will suffer. Another note is a certain dress code that must not be violated. You need to be prepared for this specificity of the profession even before you start your career.

"You have to take care of yourself, and it's even spelled out in the contract. There is even a certain type of hairstyle. For example, I can't afford to go skiing or play soccer or such things because they're injury-prone. If I get injured, the repertoire suffers, and I work in a state theater. This means that the whole system starts to collapse, so it's a risk," he explained.

In particular, Hnatkovsky believes that Ukraine has become a center for the best actors. They are responsible for their duties and rarely violate them.

"I won't say that our actors don't take care of themselves. In fact, I would say that we have the best actors in Ukraine. I can't speak for everyone, I don't have any statistics, but my colleagues - this is not some fanatical story, spa treatments or anything else, but taking care of your appearance is as important as taking care of your inner world. This is constant development; you have to work on your development," Hnatkovsky said.
