On Tuesday, May 7, the "inauguration" of the Kremlin dictator Vladimir Putin is taking place in the capital of the terrorist state, Moscow. In his speech to the Russians, the war criminal once again spoke about the main goals of the war against Ukraine.

The broadcast of the "performance", organized in the grand Kremlin palace, can be viewed on Youtube on CBC TV Azerbaijan channel. In his speech, the dictator assured that Russia does not shy away from dialogue with Western countries, and the choice is theirs "from a position of mutual respect, not force."

During his speech, Putin thanked those who are "fighting for the Motherland" and Russian citizens in all regions of the country. He assured them that the interests and security of the people would be above all else.

The dictator also referred to the "separatists," cynically noting that "Russians" from the historical lands, i.e. those occupied by Russia, allegedly defended the right to be with their homeland.

In addition, Putin noted that the Russians "confirmed the rightfulness of the country's course as this is especially important now, in times of serious trials," and expressed confidence that Russia will go through the current period with dignity and become even stronger.

As a reminder, ISW noted that on the eve of the Russian dictator's "inauguration", a new wave of rivalry for influential positions in the government has begun among Kremlin officials. Russian elites are trying to secure influential roles for themselves if dictator Putin leaves power prematurely.

Reuters reported that the United States and most EU countries will boycott the Kremlin's ceremony, but seven EU states may send representatives. Diplomatic sources told journalists that France, Hungary, Slovakia and possibly some other European countries would attend the ceremony.

Earlier, EU foreign and security policy spokesperson Peter Stano said that Russia had sent invitations to Putin's so-called inauguration to European countries. The EU was deciding how to respond to such an invitation on behalf of the entire union.

Earlier, the U.S. State Department said that their representatives would not attend Putin's inauguration ceremony because the White House does not consider the election to be free. When asked whether this meant that the United States was boycotting the event, Miller said that "you can draw your own conclusions."
