Kyle announced her Ukrainian roots
Lauren Kyle, the girlfriend of Connor McDavid, one of the best hockey players in the world, has revealed for the first time that she has Ukrainian roots. The 27-year-old Toronto native announced this while communicating with her followers on Instagram.
Kyle invited fans to ask her questions about her personal life or relationship with the Edmonton Oilers forward-captain. The couple is set to get married next July, which has fueled interest in their relationship even more. One of the fans decided to ask McDavid's fiancée about her favorite Christmas dish.
In response, Lauren said that he would follow the traditions of his country. "I have a Ukrainian family, so we cook traditional Ukrainian dishes on Christmas Eve. I plan to continue this tradition," wrote Kylie, who works as a translator.
