How to instantly tighten your face with makeup: the three-line method for mature skin

It is believed that after a certain age, makeup can no longer make noticeable changes to the face and only serious surgery can help. But not everyone agrees with this statement.

For example, blogger @maturebeautystudio, who shows makeup tricks for women over 50 on her TikTok, demonstrated the "three line method". It can visually tighten the face at any age.

The main product that creates the entire visual effect in this method is a highlighter. For the short video tutorial, Cherie (that's the blogger's name) has pre-applied foundation, sculptor, and blush - a trio that is most often used to create a makeup base.

Next, she took a wide and fluffy, but tapered to the tip, brush and applied three lines of highlighter. One from the outer corner of the eye to the temple, another across the upper cheekbone, and the third in the hollow under the cheekbone, below the blush. All three lines should go upward on a slope.

Finally, the lines should be carefully shaded in the direction of their application. This makeup gives the face additional volume and radiance.

For comparison, Sheri demonstrated how half of her face looks with these three lines applied, and how the other half looks without them. The difference was quite noticeable. The eye appears more lifted and the cheekbone is more pronounced.
