92% of Ukrainians surveyed trust the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valerii Zaluzhnyi. Only 5% of respondents expressed distrust of the military leader.

These are the results of a survey conducted by the Kyiv International Institute of Sociology. In the regional dimension, the majority of those who trust Zaluzhnyi live in the central regions, which make up 93%. In the southern, eastern and western regions, there are 91% of such people.

At the same time, 43% of respondents believe that there may be some disagreements between the Commander-in-Chief and President Zelenskyy, while 39% believe that there is no conflict.

72% of Ukrainians would have a negative attitude to Zaluzhnyi's resignation, 21% of respondents took a neutral position, and only 2% would support the general's dismissal.

The survey was conducted on December 4-10, 2023, by telephone interviews using a computer based on a random sample of mobile phone numbers. In total, 1,200 respondents were interviewed.

As a reminder, during a press conference on Tuesday, December 19, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on the conflict with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi for the first time. The head of state said that he and the commander-in-chief have a working relationship, and the Ukrainian leader expects concrete results from the general.

"I am not developing any personal relations... I need results every day, in every position. And responsibility for each result," the head of state said.

- Zaluzhnyi commented on the discovery of a wiretapping device in his office for the first time. He confirmed that it was found in the room where he was supposed to move on Monday, December 18.

- Earlier, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov put an end to the issue of resignations in the Armed Forces command, in particular, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi and the Commander of the Joint Forces Serhii Naiev. At the moment, there is no such issue.
