Fraud and deception: falsification in the Usyk–Fury rematch announced
Former mixed martial arts fighter, analyst and commentator Chael Sonnen has questioned the amount of fees paid to Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-2-1, 14 KOs) for their fights. The 47-year-old American expressed confidence that the amount of $191 million in the rematch for the two was announced to promote the fight.
Sonnen said this for the Blue Wire podcast, essentiallysports.com reports. The former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) championship belt contender in two weight categories noted that the organizers of the Usyk-Fury confrontation were involved in a fake fight.
"There were rumors that Usyk would get $60 million for the fight with Fury. So, three weeks ago, Usyk did not receive $60 million. These figures are exaggerated. They were fabricated for the public," Sonnen said.
It is worth noting that according to media reports, the Ukrainian boxer was supposed to earn 60 million for the first fight with Fury, and 105 million in US currency for the rematch.
As a reminder, the rematch between Usyk and Fury ended with Oleksandr winning by a unanimous decision with a score of 116-112 three times.
In addition, it became known what result was recorded by artificial intelligence. This angered Tyson, who called himself the strongest with a difference of at least three rounds. After the fight, he was "disqualified".
Promoter Eddie Hearn disputed the score of the rematch between Usyk and Fury. In turn, the British media found out what Tyson was told before the 12th round of the fight. Anthony Joshua (28-4, 25 KOs) also reacted to the outcome of the fight.
At the same time, impressive statistics of the opponents' punches in the fight were published. A photo showed what Fury's face looked like after 100 missed punches from Usyk.
After the victory, the Ukrainian boxer decided on his next opponent and also made a confession about his revenge fight with Tyson.
Paris Fury's reaction was also caught on camera when Oleksandr was announced as the winner of the rematch with Tyson. In addition, the fight was featured in a famous cartoon. And in Russia, fake words of the British about Volodymyr Zelenskyy began to spread. The Ukrainian was suspended from boxing.
Usyk was recently named the best heavyweight boxer in the 21st century. And Fury suffered a "catastrophe" after his second defeat to Alexander. In addition, Britain reported radical changes with Tyson.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, a video of what Tyson Fury wrote on the flag of Ukraine after his defeat by Oleksandr Usyk in a rematch has appeared. The fees of the rivals for the second fight also became known.
Manager Aegis Klimas told when Usyk plans to return to the ring. Artificial intelligence has already made a prediction for the Ukrainian's fight.
