A flight attendant working for the Ski Vertigo tour operator told us about the dirtiest places on the plane that should not be touched while traveling. She also shared recommendations on how to reduce the risk of germs entering the body.

According to a spokesperson for Ski Vertigo, airplane passengers should always be careful when setting up or removing tables. The best way to protect yourself is to remember to clean the table with disinfectant wipes.

Another place that tourists should keep in mind when using is the airplane restroom. Although the need to use it may be inevitable on long-haul flights, it is generally better to use the one at the airport just before boarding. During the flight, you should wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water and use an antibacterial gel when you return to your seat.

The flight attendant noted that passengers traveling on longer flights should take a mask, wipes, and a change of clothes. "For long flights, consider taking a small 'hygiene kit' in your carry-on bag that includes a face mask, a hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and even a change of clothes. Changing your clothes after your flight can help you reduce the likelihood of transferring germs from the plane to your final destination," she explained.
